Michael D. Ocker, CPA President mike@ockeraccounting.com Michael Ocker is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of Slippery Rock University with a BSBA degree in Accounting. Michael has been with the firm since 1986. Michael has extensive experience in small business accounting and consulting and he is highly regarded by our clients for his innovative thinking and personalized approach in meeting their business needs.  Michael is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), and the Pennsylvania Society of Public Accountants (PSPA).  In addition, Michael is a Board member for the Orrstown Bank Advisory Committee, ARC of Franklin and Fulton Counties, and the Lutheran Social Services and Hospice.
John A. Donnelly, CPA, CFP Senior Accountant john@ockeraccounting.com John A. Donnelly is a 1969 graduate of Penn State University with a B.S. Degree in Accounting. He is a Licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of PA and an Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service. He has been a Certified Financial Planner Practitioner TM since 1972. John has prepared income taxes for individuals, partnerships, corporations and non-profit organizations since 1972. In addition, John has provided business consultation and accounting services since 1979.
Nina Thiessen, CPA Manager nina@ockeraccounting.com Nina Thiessen joined our firm in June 2000. Nina is a 1989 graduate of the University of Missouri with a Bachelors Degree in accounting. Nina enables us to better meet your accounting and tax needs as she brings over nine years of tax and accounting experience to our firm. Nina successfully passed the Enrolled Agent exam in the fall of 2003 and the Certified Public Accountant exam in 2007.
Mark E. Green, CPA Staff Accountant mark@ockeraccounting.com Mark is a native of Hagerstown, Maryland, and a graduate of Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. Mark earned his CPA certification in 1993 and he has been providing tax, accounting and payroll services to individuals and businesses in Franklin and Washington counties since 2003. Mark also brings to the firm broad experience in the construction, manufacturing, transportation, communications/advertising and service industries. Mark’s areas of expertise include work in financial reporting and analysis, cost control systems, operational planning & support, tax compliance and information systems.
Janice M. Ensminger, EA, ATA Senior Accountant * Firm Notary jan@ockeraccounting.com Janice Ensminger has been a major part of our team since 1982. She is an Enrolled Agent and an Acredited Tax Advisor. Janice focuses on tax preparation/consulting and accounting with payroll taxes being her area of expertise. Adele is a 1995 graduate of Hagerstown Business College with an Associates Degree in Accounting. Adele brings over 10 years of bookkeeping and accounting experience, which includes nine years of non-profit accounting experience, to our firm.
Christopher Martin, EA Paraprofessional christopher@ockeraccounting.com Chris joined our firm in January 2008, as an intern from Shippensburg University. Chris also attended the Baptist Bible College and is currently finishing requirements toward a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Shippensburg University. Chris achieved his designation of Enrolled Agent in April 2010.

Ronna attended Thompson Institute of Chambersburg and completed their Office Systems Technology Program. Ronna adds many office and customer service skills to our firm. As Administrative Assistant she will be assisting clients and staff to suit their needs.

Renee Stambaugh Senior Accountant renee@ockeraccounting.com Renee joined our firm in 2007. Renee has an Associates Degree from Frederick Community College and she is presently finishing requirements for a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland. Renee has over 17 years of experience in accounting and in the past 9 years, she has specifically focused on the completion of business tax returns.

Sharleen Fazzolari Staff Accountant sharleen@ockeraccounting.com Sharleen is a graduate of Shippensburg University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and her credentials include seven years of accounting experience with over five years in public accounting.  Sharleen's areas of expertise include small business accounting, and tax planning/return preparation for individuals, non-profit organizations, and businesses including corporations, S-corporations, partnerships, and LLCs.
